Welcome to Grass Mowing World

We are a small family company based on a farm, on the Lancashire / Yorkshire Border. We have been doing mowers of this type for approx. 15 years or longer, together with a mix  tractors and machinery related to grass management and maintenance.  We concentrate on larger mowers and machinery, precision cut cylinder mowers, diesel engines, hydraulic systems and their service / repair.

We tend to stick to the same makes and type of machines as we have got to know them in detail over the years.  This allows us to offer specialised knowledge of the machines, their requirements, weaknesses and preparation for work – processes. And there is nothing that can fail that we cannot repair or replace at sensible prices.  This knowledge and ability to prepare a used machine for years more service, reliably, is our speciality.

Our main machines are: Ransomes triple gang ride on diesel mowers, 2130 and 2250 etc. Also some Ransomes gang mowers – and after that, Hayter, Jacobsen & Kubota machines and we have lots of experience with tractors and related machinery – both compact and larger.  We do a few, fine cut, professional walk behind mowers, each year, also.  Suitable for Cricket wickets, bowling green’s etc. Fully re-conditioned. But in limited numbers. We like to make sure any machine is the best choice for your job(s) and budget, if possible, by talking and asking questions . We offer guarantees, also, for extra peace of mind.

Visiting is strongly recommended, – if you are considering purchasing a machine, as there are a lot of details to discuss. Please think about the length of grass you want to achieve with your mower, how often you are likely to mow. And how smooth or sloping your ground is. These are things that help us recommend the correct machine as we chat.
